Website enquiries

When you submit the enquiry form, we receive the information you choose to provide. This may include:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Organisation
  • Role
  • The contents of your enquiry

We use this information to understand and respond to your request.

Submitting an enquiry does not authorise us to research you or anybody mentioned in your message.

Email

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.

We use that information to respond and, where appropriate, manage the resulting business relationship.

What we ask you not to send

Please do not send:

  • Passwords
  • One-time authentication codes
  • Recovery credentials
  • Bank account details unless specifically required through an agreed secure process
  • Identity document numbers
  • Copies of sensitive documents that are not necessary at the enquiry stage

We do not need this information to understand an initial enquiry.

Client engagements

Depending on the service, Principia Works may process information obtained from:

  • Public websites
  • Public documents
  • Search engines
  • Public social and professional profiles
  • Public records
  • Lawfully accessible research sources
  • Information appropriately provided by the client
  • Other sources authorised within the engagement

The exact purpose and scope of the work are defined before research begins.

Public information

Information being publicly accessible does not mean we treat it as insignificant.

Combining several public sources can create a sensitive analytical picture.

Reports, research notes and resulting analysis are therefore handled as engagement material even where the underlying sources are public.

Research scope

We aim to collect information relevant to the agreed purpose of the engagement.

We do not intentionally expand an investigation beyond its authorised scope simply because additional information is available.

Service providers

We may use third-party services to operate this website, communicate with clients or deliver services. Those providers may process limited information on our behalf where necessary.

At present, enquiry form submissions are delivered to us by Web3Forms, and this website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages.

Retention

Enquiries are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to them and manage any resulting relationship.

Engagement material is retained according to the arrangements applicable to that engagement.

Where sensitive research material is no longer required, it should be securely deleted in accordance with the agreed retention approach.

Sharing information

We do not sell personal information.

We do not share enquiry information for advertising purposes.

Information may be shared where:

  • It is necessary to provide an agreed service
  • A relevant service provider processes it on our behalf
  • The client has authorised the disclosure
  • We are legally required to provide it

Client confidentiality

We do not publicly identify clients, publish client findings or use client engagements as case studies without permission.
